Whole Turkey 10-15 pounds rinsed and
ready to cook
(or Turkey Breast 5-7 pounds)
4 medium onions; peeled and cut in half root to tip
1-14 OZ bottle BS Sauce
Flavor Injector Needle and syringe - (for best results strain the BS
Sauce through cheese cloth)
Rinse and pat dry the turkey.
Using the injector, start with the Legs and
Thighs injecting ¼ to ½ oz BS Sauce into the thick part of the
meat. At the breast area use an angle entry and inject ¼ oz at a
time into several places on each side.
Place Turkey in Roasting Pan Breast side up.
Pour 2-4 oz of the BS Sauce over the outside of the Turkey and
place into preheated oven. Cook till done using a thermometer to
verify internal temperature of the thickest part of the breast is
170* to 180*.
oven and let sit for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the
juices to redistribute in the meat
Cooking time @ 350*
(2-6 hours) is dependent upon the size of Turkey or Turkey Breast.
Average cooking time is 15 minutes per pound.
